Yahoo! puts the eye in two new startups

yahoo!

The goal would be to incorporate the templates of both companies to mobile developments and service of Yahoo searches.

The CEO of Yahoo, Marissa Mayer, is trying to recruit new talent, entrepreneurs engineers and product managers that enable the company to become a leader in the industry.

To do this, one of the tactics that the Executive is using is to buy startups in order to hire employees.

As Business Insiderreports, Yahoo is doing a new manoeuvre in its procurement plan and just put on the table an offer to make with two startups more.

On the one hand, the Internet giant has presented a proposal of between 30 and 40 million dollars for the company Xobni, which has address book applications that have not proved to be very popular.

The goal of Yahoo with this purchase is probably the Xobni team to work on mobile versions of Yahoo Mail.

On the other hand, the manufacturer wants to buy the startup Qwiki, of New York, for $ 50 million.

Qwiki has developed a technology that makes the web videos in search results and your template could instill good ideas to improve the results of searches from Yahoo, now that the company has turned in the user interface innovation.

So far year, Marissa Mayer has completed about a dozen acquisitions of this type in its intention to renew Yahoo.
