HP makes changes in its policy with the aim of improving its presence in China

Hewlett Packard has carried out a change of business area for two of its executives with the Mission of assaulting the Chinese market and compete against Lenovo.

Those affected have been Todd Bradley, until now head of the area of PCs and printers, and Dion Weisler, senior Vice President and responsible for the business of HP Asia Pacific and Japan.

Starting from now, Bradley is responsible for leading a team that will have as a top priority to achieve a positioning of the brand in China and deal with its rival Lenovo, which hopes to build a large network of partners and enhance operations on the channel, collected in ZDNet.

In particular, the new position of Bradley is the EVP of strategic growth initiatives where it is expected to have more luck that at the stage that has just ended, since the sales of personal computers have been reduced in the second quarter of the year at 20 percent and the printers, have fallen by 1%.

In the case of Weisler, is responsible for the division of PCs and printers who leaves Bradley. Weisler, carrying from January 2012 at HP, has experience in China to have occupied for Lenovo the position of COO in the areas of mobile and Digital Home, as well as having worked in management positions with Acer.
