McAfee reveals in its latest report that very few organizations have real time access to the simple knowledge of the theft of your data.
Companies take an exceptionally long time to detect data leakage.
This is the main conclusion which is extracted from the study carried out McAfee, so-called security company ' Needle in a Datastack'.
"This study has shown what we have suspected for a long time, that very few organizations have real time access to the simple knowledge of the theft of your data," said Mike Fey, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of McAfee worldwide.
The report has revealed that only 35% of companies can quickly detect security breaches, since many of them are not able to handle large volumes of data protection.
"The inability to analyze and properly store large data is a monumental threat", has concluded McAfee in its analysis, as it collects ITProPortal.
In their latest research, the security company highlighted that 22% of the companies surveyed said that needs a whole day to solve the problem, while 5% said that he would need a week whole. The mid-term business is 10 hours.
Despite the low times of response, the vast majority of organizations believed that it can detect and manage threats, a claim that McAfee has signed up as an excess of confidence.
73% Of respondents said that you can evaluate its security status in real time and 74% believed to have detection of insider threats in real time.
A few days ago, McAfee also has unveiled how the volume of Trojans that steal information has increased exponentially in the market.
It has registered a rise of 28% of malware aimed at PC, and although a decline has occurred in mobile malware, the Android universe has garnered 40% of the increase in threats.
