A report of the Financial Times suggested recently that Google might be forced to make modificcaiones on its Android platform, without specifying what measures.
Now, regulators antitrust of the European Union (EU) are referring to the manufacturers of mobile phones and mobile telecommunications operators on their agreements with Google around Android.
The aim is to find out if they the Internet giant has locked to mobile rivals, which could lead to a second investigation of the company.
According to Reuters, the Commission has asked the suppliers if agreements on Android with Google "contained clauses that them they even or limiting release or distribute not Android devices".
The competition authorities also want to know if there have been restrictions for Android devices that do not comply with the requirements of compatibility of Google.
Respondents have until July 26 to respond to the list of 82 questions that could determine if the Commission will open a new investigation into Google, which currently tries to alleviate the consequences of the abuse of dominant position in the EU.
